BLESS YOU. I’ve been squinting at blurry screenshots trying to identify the pages(because I can’t play it yet 😭). I’ve got 3 so far. Anyone got any others, please send em my way… (The pictures are in varying quality because I wanted the exact version of the print used)

3.) The Tyger

…and then I can’t pick out 4, and I’m reasonably sure there are a 5 and six… the page layout would be very strange otherwise.

Edit: ah, additionally, I wanna point out that in the translation notes for the dmcv novel released prior to launch, Before the Nightmare, V confirms that this is a book he loved as a young boy… which almost certainly means before the attack. So he most likely snagged it on his a way out of the house, along with his daddy’s cane. I think he might use them like someone meditating uses mantras or a chant for concentration, maybe even with a little flavor of unfamiliar nostalgia trying to remember who he is, in the process of regaining his human soul, because he didn’t even remember the attack initially.

Now, I can’t guarantee I understand the exact meaning when I can’t translate it myself (it’s not even out yet, and I can’t read Japanese), but V says that this is a PSALM that PREDICTED the Qliphoth. Which gives a whole new spin to V’s feelings about of The Proberbs of Hell… because the infamous(ly sexy) “So it is written” is almost certainly a reference to the phrase “Let it be written, let it be done,” which is used in reference to the Bible. So V IS being cheeky(because he’s way too sassy for any of us to handle reasonably), but at the same time, reciting proverbs and poems is… spiritual. He BELIEVES it.

The ‘Tyger,’ after all, is…

“…a symbolic tiger which represents the fierce force in the human soul. It is created in the fire of imagination by the god who has a supreme imagination, spirituality and ideals. The anvil, chain, hammer, furnace and fire are parts of the imaginative artist’s powerful means of creation. The imaginative artist is synonymous with the creator.
